FERDIAND WAITITU gets SHOCKER as Court dismisses his election petition

News just in indicates that the Constitutional Court has this evening dismissed an election petition filed by TNA’s Ferdinand Waititu against the election of ODM’s Ferdinand Kidero as Nairobi Governor.

Waititu filed the petition this morning claiming that Kidero and his running mate Jonathan Mweke illegally benefited from flawed voter tallies in at least seven constituencies.

Waititu, the immediate former Embakasi MP, failed to benefit from the TNA wave that carried his erstwhile allies Mike Mbuvi a.k.a Sonko and Rachael Shebesh into the Nairobi Senate and Women Representative seats respectively.

Waititu appeared to have a falling out with the two just before the elections when it was rumoured that he was secretly backing ODM’s Bishop Margret Wanjiru against Sonko.

More to follow.
