MIKE SONKO almost receives a dog’s beating in KIBERA slums

Immediate former Makadara MP Mike Mbuvi alias Sonko, on Tuesday evening received a dog’s beating in Kibera slums after he allegedly abused women.

Sonko, who was campaigning in the area perceived to be Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s backyard, found himself in the wrong place, after hundreds of rowdy youths waving Raila’s placards descended on him stealing his jewellery and his fat wallet.

The incident started after Sonko told women that he will give them money “to buy facial oil to soften their dry faces”

It is at this time that the crowd got irritated and roughed up the former MP for making abusive remarks directed at Kibera’s women.

The flamboyant MP escaped on foot to a nearby main road where his entourage was waiting.

Sonko, a close confidante of Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta, is vying for the senate seat in Nairobi County on The National Alliance (TNA) party ticket.
