REVEALED: How WAITITU was offered Sh 500million to step down for JIMNAH MBARU

Immediate former Embakasi MP Ferdinand Waititu was reportedly offered a whooping Sh 500 million to shelve his Nairobi Gubernatorial ambition in favour of Jimnah Mbaru in the just concluded primaries of The National Alliance (TNA) nominations, DAILY POST can now reveal.

According to our moles, Waititu was initially offered Sh 500 million, and apparently agreed to be 'bought' out, but changed his mind at the last minute.

Waititu claimed he could only step down for an amount of Sh 1 billion, which was not forthcoming. The negotiations collapsed when Waititu was told the Sh500 million was all there was.

Waititu and Jimnah Mbaru were competing for a ticket capable of eventually winning the Governor seat, hence the high price tag.

Later Waititu won the TNA nominations and Jimnah Mbaru after losing to Waititu, joined the Alliance Party of Kenya (APK) which is associated with Energy Minister Kiraitu Murungi.

The two will now faceoff with ODM supremo Dr Evans Kidero on March 4th.
