Kiss 100’s CAROLINE MUTOKO’s thoughts on … ALOUD AGAIN…

Kiss 100’s CAROLINE MUTOKO’s thoughts on … ALOUD AGAIN…

After the release of KCPE results earlier today by Education Minister Mutula Kilonzo, looks like performing well while at a private school is coming with a “penalty” to the good performers. According to Mutula, only 3,094 students from private schools would get national school slots as compared to 12,467 of their counterparts from public schools.

Controversial radio queen Caroline Mutoko   known for speaking her mind was at it again rubbishing this move by the Education Ministry and this what she had to say….

“What a strange lot we are. So KCPE results are out & once again we are all over social media yakking about the perceived injustice of private schools topping academic charts at the expense of public schools.

National schools are meant for ALL - Nowhere is it written that the schools are meant exclusively for public school candidates & if private school candidates do better, then so be it.

Why do we want to bitch and whine - yet we are not willing to elect people who will ensure our public school system is well equipped and public school teachers well paid and well trained.

Why do we want to yap and yak yet we have never asked if the very policy makers would ever send THEIR children to those public schools.

When are we going to wake up and quit playing the politicians' game?

Your child being in a low performing public school is the fault of your MP, not the fault of the parent who made the tough decision to send their child to a private school.

WAKE UP - IT'S TIME TO START THINKING OF YOURSELF. CAST A VOTE FOR YOU, YOUR CHILDREN & THEIR FUTURE OR ELSE PUT UP AND SHUT UP!”
