University of Nairobi girl in FEAR…..refused Sh. 1000 offer for sex with POLITICIAN

  A third Year University of Nairobi student is now living in fear after a Central region Member of Parliament threatened her with death for embarrassing him in front of his security guards.

According to the student, she had gone out to a club in Westlands a fortnight ago and met the youthful MP. They chatted over several drinks and exchanged contacts. The mheshimiwa promised to give the petite damsel a job and they exchanged several phone conversations.

After some few days, the MP requested to meet up with the girl and she was chauffer driven with the mheshimiwa’s official car from her hostel to a hotel in Westlands. The mheshimiwa was waiting for her at a private room which made the girl suspicious.

After several tots, the mheshimiwa dropped the bomb, he removed a Sh. 1000 note and informed the girl that he wanted to have sex with her. The girl pretended to answer a phone call and slipped out of the hotel, she however informed some security guards as she made her escape.

Since the incident occurred the mheshimiwa has been trailing her and threatening her claiming that she embarrassed him and he will eventually get to sleep with her at whatever cost.

MAINA KIAI rubbishes RAILA ODINGA over “six piece” voting order and UHURU/ RUTO’s Presidency

  United Nations Special Rapporteur Maina Kiai has rubbished Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s order of “six piece” voting in Luo Nyanza.

Speaking in Migori Primary School during the voting rights workshop, the ICC process and effects of Uhuru-Ruto leadership to the country on Sunday, Kiai termed the call for “six piece” as an effort of party leaders in making themselves wealthy and not to serve the electorate.

Last week, Raila called on the Luo Nyanza electorate to vote for candidates from ODM party in all the six levels of elective posts.

“Leaders use parties to make themselves rich and not serve their people. That is why they insist in six piece voting which locks out issue-based politics,” Kiai said.

On the issue of ICC, Kiai said Kenyans should desist from voting Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP William Ruto saying the country will face isolation if the two are elected on March 4^th.

“The two (Jubilee leaders) if elected as leaders will face international isolation and the economy will take a dip as Kenyan goods will not be accepted for export,” Kiai

Kiai, who is a former Kenya National Commission for Human Rights (KNCHR) chairman,   urged Kenyans to vote credible leaders who have no criminal record in their private and public life.

  They say there are many ways of skinning a rat and the same fallacy goes to liars as there are many ways of trapping their lies. Well as the infamous Esther Arunga and Quincy Timberlake story continues it has now emerged that the couple is still living in Kenya despite the many lies that she is doing well in Australia practicing law.

A while back the once celebrated news anchor at the Standard Group posted a link on her Facebook timeline which generated thousands of comments. What was an innocent post ended up revealing her location at the time of the update.

While posting the update, she used a blackberry phone which indicated that she was actually located in Nairobi, Kenya.

After realizing her mistake, Arunga removed the update to avoid more suspicions. Below is the update that is making rounds in the social media.

SHAME as Kisumu clinical officer RAPES a patient

  A clinical officer from Nyando District Kisumu County was yesterday arraigned in court to answer to rape charges.

Mr. David Wakenga Okoth, a clinical officer at Annex Health Center in Nyando was accused of sexually abusing a patient at the clinic on February 3^rd this year.

According to witnesses, Wakenga took advantage of his position to rape his patients. The court also heard that on the fateful day the victim had gone for regular checkups when the accused forced her to have sexual contact threatening to kill her if she reported the matter.

Appearing before a Nyando court, David denied the charges and was released on a SH 50,000 bond.

LESBIANS and PROSTITUTES take over Accra Mall

One of the greatest challenges facing the managers of Accra Mall is how to deal with Lesbians and prostitutes, who are using the shopping centre as a fertile ground to practice their illegal trade.

One major area where such lesbians and prostitutes advertise themselves is behind the doors of the various female washrooms situated at the mall. As soon as one sits on the water closet, the first thing that strikes is the various writings behind the door.

The contact numbers and the names of the lesbians are written on the doors with blue and black ink. Some of them read: “Are you a lesbian? Call Lydia on …….. for a chat. If you are a white lesbian, call me on….. for relationship,” among others.

Apart from lesbians, some prostitutes have also written their phones numbers behind some of the restrooms for business.

Michael Oduro Konadu, the Marketing Officer of Broll Ghana Limited, managers of Accra Mall told Economic Tribune that: “it is difficult to identify a prostitute in the Mall because of the crowd that shows up on a daily basis.”

“Most young ladies who parade themselves on the corridors of the Mall are prostitutes either waiting to be picked up by their clients or looking out for men seeking sexual adventure. This makes their transactions more discreet,” Konadu added.

He disclosed that on a few occasions he had witnessed prostitutes being kicked out from the mall by the security team.

“Lesbians and prostitutes are posing great challenge to us, but we want to assure our customers that we shall deal with the problem as soon as possible. We have taken a new measure to bring in police patrol to the parking lot every morning and every evening,” Mr Konadu noted.

DEAD woman SITS UP and SPEAKS in her coffin

Mourners nearly died of shock when a 101-year-old woman sat up and spoke - as she was being put in her coffin.

Peng Xiuhua asked why so many people were in her house in Lianjiang, Guangdong province, China.

Peng, who lived alone, had taken a tumble and hurt herself so her two daughters, who are in their 70s, were looking after her.

However, 10 days later her daughters could not detect a heartbeat and her body had gone stiff so she was declared dead.

The daughters gave her a bath, an undertaker dressed her and they were about to put her in her coffin when she came back to life.

Peng  said: “I am a lucky woman.

"Not only did I get to see how many people care for me, but I also woke up before they took me to the crematorium,” she said.

After a massive raid by Uhuru Kenyatta’s K24, Royal media services is in yet more trouble, six RMS broadcast transmitters have been shut down by Communication Commission of Kenya (CCK) for operating without licenses.

The stations transmitters located in Nakuru, Narok, Mukuyuni (Makueni) and Mabrui (Malindi) are also said to have been put up illegally and were using unauthorized frequencies. Some of them are erected in non-designated sites thus causing a lot of interferences and hindrances to the aviation industry.

According to CCK, “the six are part of 17 transmitters put up illegally by Royal Media Services in the recent past without a license from CCK, and therefore in contravention of the law.”

CCK also indicated that at least 22 other FM stations and 2 broadcasting stations owned by RMS may be closed down after the court rules in the CCK favor. 

SK MACHARIA’s Royal Media Services under THREAT as CCK shuts down 6 transmitters

  The Kenyan DAILY TRUTH understands that the usually timid Communication Commission of Kenya (CCK) has started a curious grudge match with one of the country’s biggest media houses, the Royal Media Services by shutting down six of its broadcast transmitters allegedly for operating without valid licenses.

The six transmitters which were shut down are in Nakuru, Narok, Mukuyuni in Makueni and Mambrui, Malindi.

In a statement from CCK Director General Francis Wangusi, the agency said that the six transmitters were part of 17 that had been "put up illegally by Royal Media Services in the recent past without a licence from CCK, and therefore in contravention of the law". 

The letter also alleged that the illegal transmitters had been scrambling the communication signals for the country’s aviation industry;

"Some of the transmitters are located in non-designated broadcasting sites thus causing interferences to other critical services including aviation.”

"The safety of our airspace was under threat as these illegal transmitters had on a number of occasions caused interferences to communication between pilots and the control tower at our main airports."

According to the letter, Royal Media Services could yet still see more of its frequencies shut down;

“A further 22 FM and 2 TV unauthorized frequencies that Royal Media Services acquired in the same manner between 2008 and 2012 are pending adjudication in the courts.”

Some are likely to read politics into the CCK’s latest move since the Royal Media Services juggernaut has recently been accused of pulling for Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s bid for the presidency in the March 4^th elections.

Lawyers representing the two will now be travelling to The Hague on February 14 for a Status Conference.

But Uhuru and Ruto, who are Jubilee Presidential candidate and running mate ,may skip the sessions as they are not required to be present when the cases go for the status conference before ICC’s Trial Chamber V.

Status conferences are provided for under Article 64(3) of the Rome Statute  for the court and the parties to set a trial date, confer on the necessary procedure for  fair  and expedious trial, determine the language  to be used in the proceedings  and agree on time table and scope  for disclosure  of documents  and information  for adequate  preparation for the case.

Uhuru and Ruto’s cases are set to start on April 10 and 11, a time when the country could be going for a presidential run-off if there will be any.

A teacher who had s*x with her 15-year-old student has avoided going to prison by marrying the boy. 

Leah Gayle Shipman, 42, married Johnnie Ray Ison two years after she was arrested for having s*x with him aged just 15 at Wilmington High School in North Carolina. 

That means the authorities can’t make Ison, who is now 19, give evidence against Shipman, The Wilmington Star-News reports. 

This is because under North Carolina law a defendant’s spouse cannot be made to testify in criminal cases. 

Brunswick County Assistant District Attorney Gina Essey reportedly said: ‘None of the statements made in this case would be admissible without the victim. The defendant has a Sixth Amendment right to confront witnesses against them.’ 

Simpson was facing 15 years for statutory rape at the time of the wedding, which came just six days after she divorced her husband of 19 years. 

Ison’s mother gave permission for son, who was still a minor, to marry. 

The wedding only became public knowledge after Shipman pleaded guilty last month to resisting an officer investigating alleged abuse. She was given a 30-day suspended jail sentence. She was fired by the school.

A 45-year-old Bulawayo man who was convinced of raping a 12-year-old girl rumpus in court when he claimed that his 'black mamba' was so big such that if he had forced himself on the girl, he organ was going to break off.

The girl in a counter like fashion during cross examination, stated that as a result of the sexual abuse, she sustained excruciating pains and soiled her panties with blood.

The man whose name is withheld to protect the minor girl and who is also a neighbour to the girl's maternal grandmother made the startling claims while appearing before Bulawayo regional magistrate Mr Alex Shumba. He was being charged with two counts of rape and one of indecent assault.

The alleged serial rapist pleaded not guilty but was convicted and sentenced to 22 years in jail, 18 years for the first count and four years for the second one after the court found overwhelming evidence against him that he committed the heinous offence.

Agreed facts were that on an unknown date to the State but in August last year, the accused invited the complainant to his house to wash his dishes. After the complainant finished the chores, the accused asked her to sit on a bench and told her that when she grew up she would become his wife. The court heard that the accused closed the door and started fondling the complainant's 'still budding' breasts and in a bid to buy hersilence, he gave a 2 RAND!

His actions were scuttled by his friend who knocked at his bedroom door and when he opened for him, the complainant exploited the opportunity and bolted out of the house.

The court further heard that the following day, using the same modus operandi, the man invited the young girl to his house. Upon her arrival, he lifted her to his bed, removed her clothes and raped her twice. The girl later reported the matter to the police leading to the arrest of the accused person.

RAILA still leading as UHURU closes the gap and there will be A RUN OFF - Synovate poll

  According to a recent survey done by Ipsos Synovate Company, Prime Minister Raila Odinga is still the man to beat if elections are held today.

Raila garnered 46 percent against Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta’s 40 percent. Musalia Mudavadi came third with 5 percent, Martha Karua 1 percent and Peter Kenneth 1 percent. This indicates that there will be a run-off after the March 4^th general election since no presidential candidate who has reached 50+1 percent of the tallied votes.

On the alliances popularity, Coalition for Reform and Democracy (CORD) still came on top with 43 percent against Uhuru’s Jubilee with 40 percent, Amani coalition 4 percent and Eagles alliance 1 percent.

Uhuru popularity rose from 26 percent to 40 percent while Raila’s popularity rose from 34 percent to 46 percent.

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report) – A rising chorus of congressional Republicans are calling on President Obama to acknowledge that the pop singer Beyoncé lip-synched during his inaugural festivities on Monday and resign from office, effective immediately.

“By lip-synching the national anthem, Beyoncé has cast a dark cloud over the President’s second term,” said Sen. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky).  “The only way President Obama can remove that cloud is by resigning from office at once.”

While many in the media have blamed Beyoncé for the lip-synching controversy, Mr. Paul said, “We must remember that this happened on President Obama’s watch.”

Mr. Paul said that the White House’s refusal to comment on the Beyoncé crisis “only serves the argument that this President has something to hide.”

“If Beyoncé lip-synched the national anthem, how do we know President Obama didn’t lip-sync his oath of office?” he said. “If that’s the case, he’s not legally President. But just to be on the safe side, he should resign anyway.”

Mr. Paul also blasted Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for her testimony on Benghazi before the Senate today: “Her tactic of answering each and every question we asked her didn’t fool anyone.”
