Man UNCLADS in church, claiming God sent him to have S*X with all WOMEN
A man
stunned congregants at a church in Harare after claiming that God had sent him
to have sex with all the women in the church before stripping naked.
Eliad Saungweme, aged 32, appeared before a Harare magistrate on public indecency charges. He allegedly went berserk at a church gathering held on December 16 last year.
Magistrate Olivia Mariga remanded Saungweme under the Mental Health Act and ordered him to be examined by two doctors before being tried.
Prosecutor Rufaro Mazvimbakupa told the court Saungweme appeared before other church congregants and started shouting vulgar words. He allegedly told the gathering that God had sent him to have sexual intercourse with all the women in the church.
The court heard Saungweme then removed his clothes, exposing his privates to his churchmates. While in that state, he also proposed love to 47-year-old Enid Chigayo who resides in Harare's Dzivaresekwa Extension suburb.
According to State papers, Saungweme ordered all men to leave the church premises to give him space to fulfil his "God sent" mission.
It is alleged that he later approached Chigayo and told her that he wanted her to be his wife. Chigayo reported the matter to the police leading to Saungweme's arrest.
Mariga remanded Saungweme to January 16.
