It is MIKE SONKO and KIDERO in Nairobi County! WAITITU and WANJIRU trail -Ipsos Synovate poll

  According to a new poll done by Ipsos Synovate, ODM strongman Dr Evans Kidero and flamboyant Makadara MP Mike Mbuvi Sonko will clinch the Governor and Senator seat respectively in Nairobi County, if elections are to be held today.

Dr Kidero, the former CEO of Mumias Sugar, would secure 40 percent of the votes with his close competitor immediate former Embakasi MP Ferdinand Waititu of TNA coming second with 37 percent. Billionaire Jimnah Mbaru of Alliance Party of Kenya (APK) would garner 10 percent.

On the senatorial seat, Mike Sonko of TNA will win the race with a landslide.

According to the pollster, Sonko will garner 65 percent of the votes against her closest rival Housing Assistant Minister Margaret Wanjiru who would get 25 percent of the votes.

The survey was conducted between February 5 and 8 and the pollster interviewed registered voters from 17 constituteuencies from Nairobi County.
