UHURU KENYATTA and RUTO want to RIG the elections – KALONZO tells RAILA’s CORD supporters

Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has urged CORD supporters to remain at polling stations after voting to avoid rigging of elections on March 4th.

Addressing a mammoth rally at Tononoka grounds in Mombasa on Sunday, Kalonzo said their rivals, are scheming together with the government on how to rig the March 4th poll.

Musyoka who is the running mate of Prime Minister Raila Odinga in CORD alliance, called on his supporters to be extra vigilant until the final tally is announced.

He called on Coast residents to be strong and turn out in large numbers and avoid a run- off.

“If the Coast region can vote as a bloc, the alliance will garner about 61 percent of the total votes and this will give us a clear victory,” Kalonzo said.

He said if Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto are elected, the tourism sector was bound to suffer.

“It is better to elect Raila so that the country can get more investors,” Kalonzo said

The VP also exuded  confidence that CORD alliance will win the election with a landslide, urging Jubilee leaders and supporters to be ready to accept an early defeat.
