JULIE GICHURU offers Kiss 100’s SHAFFIE WERU money above PAPA SHIRANDULA
Kiss 100’s Shaffie Weru who is the latest
celebrity entrant in the film industry has grown and become the highest paid
actor over night. Apparently he is paid a clean Sh. 100,000 per episode.
Citizen TV’s Papa Shirandula was the highest paid actor
making Sh. 80,000 a week but seems Shaffie has beaten him to his game through
the new show produced by Citizen TV’s Julie Gichuru and Classic 105’s Nick
Otieno dubbed Maisha on K24.
The show was to be a short film but the two producers
decided to make it a series which has seen its way to K24. The film was about a
woman who looks for a hit man to kill her ex boyfriend’s girlfriend so that she
can be with him again.
In the drama, Shaffie is acting as Don Juan as he revealed
about his character to a local paper and we quote:
“I am
boys with the boss played by XFM's Nick Ndeda and he doesn't know it but I have
slept with his wife. I will be in a number of episodes, the first of which I
shot on Friday afternoon.”
Below are photos from the shooting that Shaffie did on
Friday:
