SHAME: Kenyatta University is a BEDBUG NEST - case study Nyayo 3 and 4 HOSTELS.

  Kenyatta University prides itself as one of the best universities in Kenya. In fact it was unjustifiably ranked as one of the best institutions in the country by the Ministry of Higher Education last year. But this all are marketing gimmicks since being in KU is the same as being in the dark dungeon of Kamiti Maximum Prison.

Kenyatta University hostels are a breeding place of bedbugs, the situation is so pathetic and the authorities including University’s administration led by  Prof Olive Mugenda and the Kenyatta University Students Association (KUSA) appear unconcerned despite numerous complains.

The most affected hostels are Nyayo 3 and 4 where students have to remove the mattresses and the beddings and dry them in the sun on a daily basis.

Can the University administration clarify this, since the University brags to be a World Class education centre!
